About Miami Beach
Miami Beach is a coastal city located on barrier islands that separate the City of Miami from the Atlantic Ocean. The South Beach neighborhood is the commercial center of Miami Beach and is also home to the Art Deco Historic District, containing the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world.
Across Biscayne Bay is the City of Miami, the heart of the largest metropolis in the southeastern United States and seventh largest in the country. Miami’s thriving art, music, restaurant, and nightlife scenes offer an international flair that reflect the city’s diverse cultural influences. As a coastal city, Miami’s beaches and boardwalks are unmatched for their beauty and accessibility. Miami enjoys a subtropical climate, with July temperatures averaging a high of 91°F and a low of 77°F.
